If your company does not meet the requirements for full membership in terms of length of existence and turnover, you can apply for associate membership at a significantly lower membership fee: Associate members do not have voting rights, but otherwise enjoy all the rights of a full member. This includes the use of the ADM logo, access to legal advice, participation in internal association workshops, and, of course, membership meetings. In addition, companies must commit to complying with the association’s statutes, professional principles, rules of conduct, quality standards, and ADM resolutions.

In principle, any private-sector market and social research agency which is legally independent and based in the Federal Republic of Germany is eligible to become a full member of ADM. Further conditions for full membership are uninterrupted scientific operation in the field of market and social research for at least three years; performing most of the tasks associated with a research contract alone rather than performing certain subsidiary tasks within market and social research; a minimum annual turnover to be laid down by the general assembly of members; and guaranteeing compliance with the professional principles, rules of conduct and quality standards of the ADM.

To become a full member of ADM, you must be able to answer “yes” to the questions below regarding the length of time your company has been in business and its annual turnover.
If your company has been on the market for less than three years and/or your annual turnover is lower, ADM offers you the option of associate membership (see below).

- Sie halten sich an die Qualitätsstandards des ADM?
- Sie gewährleisten die Einhaltung der Vereinssatzung, der Berufsgrundsätze und Standesregeln sowie die Beschlüsse der Arbeitskreise?
